ABOUT US

FROM OUR FOUNDER
Hi, I'm Nkonye!
I grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, where traditional wellness practices were a part of everyday life, herbal remedies for for fevers, clay for skin irritations. Even after moving to the U.S. for college, these rituals stayed with me, from embracing the power of botanicals like moringa to the use of shea butter as an all-around salve.
When I began experiencing my own skin issues (dull, dry, and patchy), I searched for products that felt familiar, like the nutrient dense, clean, and effective products from my childhood, but became frustrated by the lack of options.

That search led me to create eni culture, a skincare brand rooted in the wisdom of African wellness. Africa is home to some of the world's most powerful botanicals. eni culture honors that legacy with luxurious, high-performing skincare designed for everyone. Our name reflects this vision: "culture" for heritage; "eni," a play on my initials, for inclusivity. After all, beauty belongs to eni body!
TRADITIONAL WELLNESS
Africa, the cradle of humankind, has one of the oldest therapeutic systems. Across the diverse African regions and cultural landscapes, these traditions are centered around a belief that wellness is holistic, requiring harmony of mind, body, and spirit. Passed down through generations, ancient wisdom blends psychology, cultural norms, and nature’s abundance—mostly botanicals—to restore balance and well-being.
